Welcome to DES Tae Kwon-Do, a family oriented martial arts group with academy’s in Midsomer Norton (Bath), Wootton Bassett (Swindon), Kingswood & Warmley (Bristol).

DES TKD was founded by its Senior Instructor Mr Derek Skidmore 4th Degree Black Belt on 12th September 1994.

We are members of P.U.M.A. (The Professional Unification of Martial Arts) Europe’s largest and fastest growing I.T.F. Tae Kwon-Do group and one of the most respected martial arts organisations in the world.

Our academies boast many achievements in its fourteen year history, including hundreds of martial art champions at both national, European and world championship level.

Despite all this, the success of our schools are based on its reputation of the very highest quality martial arts tuition available and the people that make up its membership. The schools are not only martial arts training centres, but also our small group has a fantastic social aspect with many functions such as our summer BBQ, Christmas party and presentation evening making our DES TKD martial arts family the envy of all our competitors.
